Class cancellation due to inclement weather
For the safety of students, parents and staffs, York Region District School Board will close all schools due to inclement weather. School closure decision will be posted on their official website. If the York Region District School Board has decided to close their public schools on Saturday, our Saturday classes would have to be cancelled.
Their official website for inclement weather closures is www.yrdsb.ca/Pages/default.aspx . Parents can visit the web page to check the status on Friday evening. If "community permit cancel" is posted for the date on Saturday, there will be no classes on Saturday. Please ensure that you verify the status by Friday night, as the school closure announcement will be removed by Saturday morning.
We will post the class cancellation in our website under "News Page" after School Board has posted their school closure decision.

Since the School Board announces their decision in a very short time, we may not be able to post it on our website or call parents on time. Therefore, please refer to the announcement of the School Board on Friday evening in case of inclement weather.
We will continue to hold our regular classes if the School Board has not declared an inclement weather closures to their schools on Saturdays.
Our school calendar will be amended after the cancellation of class. The cancelled lesson or test will resume the following week. The amended school calendar will be given to students.
