Summer Camp

Summer camp is suitable for students from Grade 1 to 5. In the morning, there are lessons for learning. In the afternoon, there are activities for developing different interests. Students can join either session or both.

Goal : Increase students' interest in learning, character building, team work, ethics through fun activities

Morning Session (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
Three subjects are offered. Each is taught by an experienced teacher for an hour a day. Program is designed with reference to Ontario and other curriculum.

French (9:00 am - 10:00 am)
Vocabulary building , Grammar, Communicative skills
English ( 10:00 am - 11:00 am)
Reading and writing, Simplified classics appreciation, Grammar
Math ( 11:00 am - 12:00 am)
Problem solving techniques, IQ training, Logical thinking

Each subject:   $80/week ;  $70/week if enrolled for 4 weeks
Three subjects:  $160/week ;  $130/week if enrolled for 4 weeks

Afternoon Session (12:00 noon – 3:30 pm)
Activities are for students to enjoy and have fun. In the meantime, these activities are designed to develop good character, teamwork skills and virtues leading to a happy and quality life.

Activities include:
Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Soccer, Team Games, Mini Chef, Mixed Media Art, Magic Science, Music, Chess, Creative Drama, Treasure Hunt, Balloon Fun, Board Games, Paper Crafts, Cultural Exploration, Sign Language, Bible Stories, Multimedia Presentation, Design & Build, Character Workshops,3-D Art, Cartoon, Puzzles,

$110/week ;  $100/week if enrolled for 4 weeks
$25/special activities
Early Bird Discount: $10 will be deducted if registration is completed before April 29, 2017.

Whole Day Camp (9:00 am - 3:30 pm)
$220/week ;   $180/week if enrolled for 4 weeks

Early Bird Discount of whole day camp: $20 will be deducted per week if registration is completed before April 29, 2017.

Before camp care (8:30 am - 9:00 am)   $15/week

Camp Fee:
Full days: $199/week (9:00 am to 3:30 pm)
Half days: 130/week (9:00 am to 12:00 pm or 12:30 am to 3:30 pm)

Before Care: $25 /week (8:00 am to 9:00 am) $30/week (7:30 am to 9:00 am)

Summer Courses

Goal: Our summer courses are two weeks intensive program designed for students who want to build a solid foundation in Math or improve their English writing skills. All courses are taught by qualified and experienced teachers.

Level 6 Intensive Math is our Saturday School year course. Students are to finish the whole year program within four weeks. This is specially designed for students who have finished our Level 5 Math program and want to enroll to Level 7 in September. New students are welcome to enroll if they pass the entrance examination.

Students of Grade 6 to Grade 9, who want to build a solid foundation in Math, may join the intensive two week Math program: Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry. These courses cover the High School curriculum.

Algebra I is a beginner course in Algebra, designed for students in Grade 6 & up.
Algebra II is suitable for students in Grade 8 or Level 7 & up.
Algebra III is an advanced course designed for Grade 9 & 10 students.
Trigonometry I is a beginner course in Trigonometry, suitable for Grade 8 & 9 or Level 7 & up students.
Trigonometry II is a continuation of Trigonometry I for Grade 9 or Level 8 students.
Geometry I is a condensed course in Geometry designed for Grade 6 and up students.

Remark :
Algebra I and Geometry I are preparation courses for our Level 8 Math.
Algebra II and Trigonometry I are preparation courses for our Level 9 Math.
Algebra III is a preparation course for Grade 10 & 11 Math.
Trigonometry I & II are preparation courses for Grade 10 Math.

The topics of Algebra : Operations of Algebraic expression, Function, Graphs, Factorization, Equations, Rational expressions, Rational numbers.

Summer is also a good time for students to spend their time to improve their writing skills. English Writing and Literacy Test Preparation class are specially designed for this purpose.

English Writing focuses on Exploring Ideas, Organizing Ideas, Developing Cohesion & Style, Using Correct Form, Developing Writing Skills and Developing Fluency. This is for students in Grade 6 and up. The teacher will start with the basic skills and continue to cover different types of writing.

Literacy Test Preparation is designed for students to prepare for the Grade 10 Literacy Test. In this course, students will certainly gain confidence and improve their English Language Skills through a variety of exercises in reading and writing, meeting the requirement of the test. Students in Grade 8 or 9 are welcome to join this course.
